About the Series

Two Sisters, One Murder

The Better Sister is based on the bestselling novel by Alafair Burke. Chloe Taylor (Jessica Biel) is a high-profile media executive whose polished life with her lawyer husband Adam (Corey Stoll) and teenage son Ethan looks nothing short of perfect. Her estranged sister Nicky Macintosh (Elizabeth Banks) — Adam's ex-wife and Ethan's biological mother — has spent years fighting to stay clean and rebuild her life on her own terms. When Adam is found brutally murdered, the sisters are thrown back into each other's orbit as detectives close in, and the investigation forces both women to confront a tangled history of jealousy, sacrifice, and betrayal that neither ever fully left behind.
